For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...
We value not just growing in our faith but doing something with our faith! Serving within the walls of this church and going out into the community and the world is a vital part of what God created us to do.
All across the world you will find believers caring for the sick, fighting injustice and spreading the gospel. We believe in sending people into the world to make a difference.
God has called us to reach out to people who don’t yet know Him – not just around the world, but in our own community as well.

Greeters & Welcome Center
If you love people and serving them, you may be a great fit serving within our Greeters Team. Arrive early, flash your friendly smile, pay close attention to visitors & answer questions.
As church building and grounds age, our facility needs continual preventative maintenance. We would love to have you help us steward what God has given First Baptist Church.
Birth, illness or the loss of a loved one can create opportunities to serve one another, sometimes these opportunities exceed what Community Groups can support; because of this we have established this team to meet needs through the making and delivering of meals during times of crisis and need.
Training up the next generation requires time and intentionality. Our children's ministry workers are trained, background-checked, and love to serve the Lord joyfully.
Security is critical for keeping our church family and property safe. We desire to proactively address issues and consistently follow safety policies at all church functions.
Community groups are our basic units for Christian fellowship, connection, care, and discipleship. In keeping with the pattern of the early church, these groups meet in homes and serve as a complement to our corporate worship on Sundays.
Prayer is active and powerful, which is why our prayer team is comprised of men and women committed to praying continually, Sundays at 9am and available to pray with you following the 10:30am service.
Our worship team is comprised of instrumentalists, vocalists, and technology-gurus who meet during the week to prepare for Sunday worship, as well as other scheduled events.
God can use you within the local church to serve His people. If you see an area of need, it's possible we need you to fill it. This list of ministry teams is not exhaustive.
